NJ MONTAGUE — Montague Land Use Board approves four affordable housing ordinances for state compliance. The board unanimously approved ordinances creating accessory apartments, a senior-housing overlay zone at Holiday Lakes, expanded group-home and rental-apartment permitted uses, and a new affordable-housing framework replacing the existing COAH ordinance, all addressing the Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. Board engineer Thomas Knutelsky noted the township sought compliance without proposing to build all required units, instead creating "a realistic opportunity through the zoning ordinances." The board also unanimously approved a minor subdivision at 166 New Road creating three buildable three-acre lots and a 15-acre remainder for GDA Properties LLC applicant Giovanni Diez.
